Each year at our annual meeting, MHIC presents awards to individuals, organizations, and developments that represent extraordinary achievements in affordable housing and community development. Candidates may be nonprofit or for-profit sponsors with whom MHIC has done business or MHIC-financed developments that are exemplary.

For the creative approach to growing an employee-owned food business and creating quality jobs for residents of Roxbury and the surrounding communities.
Main South CDC and Stutman Contracting
For creating access and opportunities for workers of color and businesses owned by people of color during the construction of 92 Grand Street.
Mission Hill Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc.
For transforming a vacant site into Parcel 25 Phase 2, a 46-unit affordable housing development to meet the needs of the low-income individuals in the community.
