This is an addition to and renovation of BGC’s existing facility in Lowell, MA. The Project will include upgrades to BGC’s existing space and creation of a dedicated teen center, new arts and education spaces, a new community center/café, and teaching kitchen. BGC expects the number of youths served annually to increase from 137 to 450. Specific programs that will grow include a teen workforce development program, mental health services, and academic success programs, as well as services for families, including connecting parents with financial literacy classes, high school diploma equivalency programs, and skill set training. The Project will support 30.5 full-time jobs, 50 part-time jobs, and 60 jobs for teens.
