A qualified equity investment (QEI) of $5,125,000 in MHIC NE CDE II Subsidiary 63 LLC to finance the acquisition and redevelopment of a ~62,000 SF building into the Bridgeport Community Care Center, a community facility offering supportive housing (150 beds) as well as vital programming to assist men, women, and children facing hunger, homelessness, addiction and trauma (the Project). The new Center will offer addiction treatment, trauma recovery, financial literacy training, job training, permanent housing placement, and day-care placement and activities for children residing in the supporting housing wing.
