The project consists of the acquisition, renovation and preservation of 161 units of age-restricted affordable housing and commercial space located at 5 Oak Street West, Boston, MA 02116. The building was originally constructed and financed in 1977 using a Section 236 MassHousing loan (236 Loan) which is scheduled to mature in March 2019. Ninety-eight units are covered by a Rental Assistance Payments Contract (RAP Contract) which expires in 2017.
