A long-vacant site in Boston’s South End has been improved with the building of an attractive 6-story building that serves as a “gateway” to this neighborhood. The building is home to Project Place, Inc., a non-profit agency supporting homeless men and women with their transition to permanent housing and employment through job training, transitional housing, case management, career counseling and educational services. The building also includes 14 SRO units for individuals reentering the workplace, and ground floor restaurant space.
