This project involved the historic renovation and adaptive reuse of a 3-story Convent in the Acre section of Lowell. The 12,500 sq. ft. property was renovated into office space and a community center for the adjacent 267-unit North Canal Apartment Complex. The project was completed and occupied in January 2002. This is the second commercial project MHIC has financed using historic tax credits, the first being Palladio Hall in Boston.
