We are starting 2025 off strong with our first closing of the year!
MHIC is proud to announce a $9.8 million construction loan, alongside a $2.5 million investment from HNEF II, to support the transformation of the historic Kane Building in downtown Worcester. The transit-oriented development will include 20 units of much-needed workforce housing designed to provide affordable living options. In addition to the housing units, the ground floor will see an expansion of the existing retail space, offering new opportunities for local businesses and enhancing the building’s role in the downtown community.
We’re thrilled to partner with The Menkiti Group on this exciting project. Their expertise and commitment to creating high-quality developments align perfectly with our mission to support impactful and sustainable growth in urban areas.
We look forward to the successful completion of this project and the positive impact it will have on both the community and the local economy.
