Today, we attended the ribbon cutting for the Betty Green Apartments! MHIC contributed a $16.3 MM LIHTC investment towards this project, and we are so proud to see its completion.
The Betty Green Apartments represents a major milestone in the ongoing revitalization of Jackson Square. The development will create 65 new homes, supporting the community and bringing economic opportunities to the area. The building will feature approximately 3,200 square feet of retail and community space, along with bicycle storage, laundry facilities, and a resident function room. This transformative development assembles multiple vacant and underutilized properties in the heart of Jackson Square, further contributing to the neighborhood's renewal.
