The CMW Center consists of a new 24,000 SF after-school music education facility located in the heart of Providence’s West End. The facility will enable enhanced and expanded program offerings and afford significantly more contact hours between students, mentors, and families, as well as serve as a community anchor facility where students, families, audiences, and neighbors can engage with the broad spectrum of CMW activities. The $14.35 million project received a $7 million NMTC allocation from MHIC NE CDE II Sub 66 LLC and a $1.15 million NMTC allocation from a PNC Co-CDE, PNC CDE 157 LLC.
