FNC is a 24-year old nonprofit based in Dorchester that runs programs that strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect by building the nurturing skills of parents and knowledge of healthy child development and by connecting families to resources within the community and each other. FNC purchased the building they have occupied for the past 17 years and plans to double the size of the building by adding two stories above the existing one-story (plus basement) building. The expansion will allow FNC to centralize their existing services, expand the scope and type of services they offer, and expand their staff.
