This project is located in the neighborhood consists of a mix of older service, commercial/retail, institutional and multi-family and single-family residential uses. The State Street corridor that has been identified by the city of Springfield as a key economic development zone and has, over the past 7 years, received over 13 million in infrastructure and beautification improvements. This is MHIC’s first property with HMR. The project preserved 61 units of rental housing for households at an income level less than 60% of AMI.
