Kenmore Abbey consists of two buildings, both originally constructed as hotels in the late 1890s and now connected by a footbridge. Located in the center of Kenmore Square, on the edge of Back Bay and steps away from Fenway Park, the buildings are beautiful and architecturally significant. They were converted to their current use as affordable housing for elderly and disabled residents in 1984. The sponsor acquired the property in 2012 and has substantially upgraded and rehabilitated the property since that time.
