Chapman Arms is a mixed-use building with 50 residential units (25 of which are affordable) and ground-floor commercial space. Originally constructed in 1897, the building contains 25 units of Section 8-subsized housing with the remainder of the units rented at market rates. In 2011, MHIC provided an acquisition loan and in 2013 MHIC Provided low-income housing tax credit financing to the sponsor for substantial renovation of the property.
