This project involves the acquisition and adaptive reuse of a historic mill complex to create a new 100,000 square-foot home for Lowell Community Health Center, a Federally-Qualified Health Center serving more than 39,000 patients annually. The new state-of-the-art community health center will allow the Health Center to consolidate its existing operations from multiple locations and create a one-stop center for health care in downtown Lowell. In addition, the project will boost Lowell’s economy by generating 100 new permanent jobs, as well as 200 construction jobs during the renovation phase of the project.
