This was one of the first two projects financed by MHIC using New Markets Tax Credit financing. The project sponsor, Neighborhood of Affordable Housing, Inc. (NOAH) reclaimed a deteriorated former industrial site on Border Street in East Boston’s waterfront neighborhood to build a new 20,000-square-foot, 4-story office condominium building. NOAH occupies one of the condominiums, and another non-profit, Project Bread, occupies the other.
